Life Skill Coaches and Interest-Based Programming
Participants work with life skill coaches who help them pursue interests by helping them define their goals and become as independent as possible. Interest-based programming offered at Kaleidoscope includes:
- Community Access
- Recreation & Leisure
- Physical Fitness
- Life Skills
For adults with special needs, finding a job is a critical first step toward self-determination and financial independence. Through Kaleidoscope’s employment planning services, coaches help participants with:
- career exploration and development;
- employment opportunities within a community; and
- skills, education and training needed to meet employment goals.
WHAT ARE THE GOALS?
The program aims to increase participants’ ability to care for themselves, self-advocacy, and quality of life for themselves and their families. Additionally, Kaleidoscope helps adults reach their employment goals, gain greater integration into their community and achieve more independence in their lives.
