PLEASANT HILL, Calif.—Easterseals Bay Area is celebrating 90 years of trailblazing services for people with disabilities and special needs. The organization kicks off its anniversary with rapid growth, strong business partnerships and a fresh new brand to raise awareness.

They’re pushing the bounds of innovation in healthcare IT while putting the care of their clients at the center of everything they do. That’s why we are thrilled to present them with the ‘2017 Salesforce Healthcare Trailblazer Award.’

In response to the unprecedented need for behavioral health services for people with autism and developmental disabilities, Easterseals Bay Area continues to expand its services and geographical reach. From 125 clients in 2012, Easterseals Bay Area today serves more than 3,500 clients in 24 counties across Northern California. It has also increased its network of behavioral health providers to more than 3,600 professionals.

Making Profound, Positive Changes in People’s Lives Every Day

As part of the celebration, Easterseals Bay Area unveiled a contemporary new brand that aligns to Easterseals National and its other affiliates. This includes a refreshed website for the organization along with an engaging new logo and look-and-feel. The new brand includes an inspirational new purpose statement:

To change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives everyday.

Technology has played a significant role in Easterseals Bay Area’s continued growth. This will be on display at the healthcare industry’s HiMSS17 conference next week, where Salesforce will recognize Easterseals Bay Area as a Healthcare Trailblazer for using Salesforce Health Cloud to connect its entire ecosystem—including referral sources, clients, families, care partners and employees—and making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day.
