David Durham is an Employment Attorney and partner at McDermott, Will & Emory in San Francisco. David’s expertise is representing employers on labor and employment matters, including but not limited to union elections, unfair labor practices, and collective bargaining negotiations. He also advises non-union employers regarding vulnerability assessments and planning. David’s clients have spanned a wide of industries that include health care, food service, hospitality, construction, and entertainment. He regularly advises on employment-related issues, including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, unfair competition, trade secret and compensation disputes.
David has his J.D. from the University of California at Berkley, Boalt Hall School of Law and his undergrad from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He is Associate editor of California Law Review and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Labor Law – Management. He is also an AV Preeminent-rated attorney, the most selective peer-awarded honor from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco, the California Association of Health Care Facilities and the State Bar of California.
